FDC & Associates was retained by Apex Concepts to prepare final engineering plans and documents for two tilt-up buildings approximately 14,000 sq. ft. on a 2.4 acres site. The project included mass site grading to raise the pad to street level. The grading required a FEMA flood plain modification map as well as a comprehensive hydrology and hydraulic plan. The site was used by the City of Perris as a detention basin for offsite flows. Therefore, FDC & Associates engineers developed plans to route the on site surface flow to storm chambers and offsite flows were captured on the end of the cul-de-sac and routed underneath and across the site to a headwall and rip-rap outlet.
